オーボエ特別レッスン
オーボエの特別レッスンを開催いたします。米国で研鑽を積み、世界各国でソロやオーケストラ活動を展開し、現在は指揮者としても活躍中のユエ・チェン氏による1日特別レッスンです。初心者から、オーディションやコンクールを控えた方まで、幅広いレベルの受講生を歓迎いたします。
レッスンは英語で行われますが、日本語通訳が付きます。

講師紹介
音楽家の家庭に育った Yue Cheng は、オーボエ奏者・指揮者として、中国を代表する音楽家として高い評価を得ている。テキサス大学オースティン校（学士号）、ハート音楽院（修士号）を卒業し、Leonhard Seifert、Richard D. Blair、Humbert Lucarelli、Jerry Junkin の各氏に師事。国際的な音楽家として、チェコ共和国、ドイツ、イタリア、スイス、アメリカ、日本、中国、ブラジルで演奏活動を展開してきた。近年の主な実績には、ウェストポイント陸軍士官学校、ニューヨーク大学スタインハート校でのマスタークラス、フィラデルフィア管弦楽団およびハンブルク交響楽団と共演。2013年には国際ダブルリード協会コンクールの審査員を務め、2019年から2022年まで昆山デューク大学フィルハーモニー管弦楽団の音楽監督を歴任。現在、ニューヨーク大学上海校上海チェンバーオーケストラの音楽監督、ニューヨーク大学上海校准教授、ニューヨーク大学上海校芸術プログラム主任を務めている。
Coming from a family of musicians, oboist and conductor Yue Cheng has distinguished himself as one of China's most outstanding musicians. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (Bachelor's degree) and the Hartt School of Music (Master's degree), Mr. Cheng studied with Leonhard Seifert, Richard D. Blair, Humbert Lucarelli, and Jerry Junkin. As an internationally accomplished musician, Mr. Cheng has performed in the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, U.S., Japan, China, and Brazil. His recent career highlights include teaching master classes at West Point Academy and NYU Steinhardt, as well as guest performances with the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Hamburg Symphoniker. He served as a jury member for the International Double Reed Society Competition in 2013 and was the music director of the Duke University Kunshan Philharmonic Orchestra from 2019 to 2022. Currently, he serves as the music director of NYU Shanghai Chamber Orchestra, associate arts professor at NYU Shanghai, and area head of the NYUSH performing arts program.
