Online Clarinet Lessons at Fujiyama Clarinet Studio

Online Clarinet Lessons

Fujiyama Clarinet Studio also offers online lessons. These are ideal for those who live far away and cannot attend in-person lessons, or for those who wish to supplement their face-to-face lessons. So far I've offered online lessons to those who are in town or from oversea, like China.

This article will explain in detail about our online clarinet lessons.

Online Lesson Content

Approximately 60-minute lesson + Lesson video clips (irregular) + One video review (within 10 days after the lesson)

Please check if you have an environment suitable for lessons. Ensure you have a space and time where you can make sound without issues, and try to avoid interruptions such as phone calls or doorbell rings so that you can concentrate on the lesson.

How to Take Online Lessons

Setting Up Your Online Environment

  • Applications Used: We use Streamyard, Zoom, Discord, etc. You may need to download the necessary applications in advance.

  • Internet Connection: Please use a high-speed connection to prevent sound interruptions. If possible, we recommend a wired connection over Wi-Fi.

  • Camera Function: Please prepare a good quality camera for clear visibility. A computer screen is preferable, but tablets or smartphones are also acceptable.

  • Camera Setup: During lessons, please set the camera angle slightly diagonally so that your face to hands are visible in the frame.

  • Microphone Function: While built-in microphones are acceptable, we recommend using an external microphone for better sound quality.

  • To prevent feedback and delay, it's preferable to use earphones or headphones. If these interfere with your performance, you may choose not to use them, but please select an appropriate location to minimize background noise.

Other Preparations:

• An environment where you can make loud sounds

• Music stand, pencil, metronome
